Technical Battleground is a special area, where the player gains Event Points for killing enemies. Player can claim various rewards when certain amount of Event points are reached. Rules of Technical Battleground change whenever a new version is released but most mechanics remain the same.

Entry

To enter Technical Battleground, click green arrow in Ye Olde Pub , choose which version you want to join and click green JOIN button.

Technical Battleground is free to enter for limited time period after releasing. After the time runs out, player can craft unlimited entry for 25,000,000,000 Crafting material.

Event points

You obtain certain amounts of Event points when you defeat mobs here. You keep those points even if you die or leave the area. Event points are separate for each Technical Battleground version. Amount of Event points gained is based on various factors.

Base Event points gain is:

  • eventPointToGain = 55 + mobLevel/200 + Streak
    • Streak is capped at 100 for use of this formula

This base gain is then multiplied by factor based on which mob you have defeated:

Event point gain is then multiplied by factor based on difficulty:

  • Hardcore mode, eventPointToGain * 2;
  • Worst Moon or Apocalypse mode, eventPointToGain * 1.6;
  • Apocalypse mode, eventPointToGain * 1.25;
  • it was boss monster, eventPointToGain * 5;

Event point gain is then multiplied by factor based on streak:

  • first kill after entering/death, eventPointToGain = 1
    • this cancel effect of everything listed above
  • current streak 2-4, eventPointToGain * 0.05
  • current streak 5-9, eventPointToGain * 0.15
  • current streak 10-19, eventPointToGain * 0.25
  • current streak 20-49, eventPointToGain * 0.35
  • current streak 50 or more, eventPointToGain * 0.5

Event point gain is then multiplied by factor based on time needed to kill the mob:

  • you needed at least 15 seconds to beat the mob, eventPointToGain * 0.5
  • you needed between 5 and 15 seconds, eventPointToGain * (1.25 - time / 20)
  • you needed less than 1 second and current streak is at least 10, eventPointToGain * 2
  • in other cases eventPointToGain remains unchanged

After all these calculations, eventPointToGain is rounded up to next whole number.

Mobs

Mobs in Technical Battleground are the same as in Fairytale Fight-off! areas. Which mob you can encounter is based on Streak and Event points:

  • your streak is 0 or 1
  • you have at least 1,000 Event points and Streak 2 or more
  • you have at least 2,500 Event points and Streak 2 or more
  • you have at least 5,000 Event points and Streak 5 or more
  • you have at least 7,500 Event points and Streak 2 or more
  • you have at least 10,000 Event points and Streak 10 or more

Mob stats

Base stats are same as in Fairytale Fight-off! areas. These are also shown in bestiary. But stats are modified by streak and Event points.

  • Statmult = event points
  • current streak = 0, Statmult - 5000
  • current streak = 1, Statmult - 2500
  • current streak = 2-4, Statmult - 1000
  • current streak = 5-9, Statmult - 500
  • current streak = 10-19, Statmult + 0
  • current streak = 20-49, Statmult + 500
  • current streak = 50-99, Statmult + 1000
  • current streak 100 and more, Statmult + 2500

If Statmult is negative, it is set to 0.

Real enemy stats:

  • level = level + (Statmult / 5) - 2500)
    • maximum level is 8,999
  • maxhp = maxhp * (1 + (Statmult / 250)2) / 1000)
    • if you have 9,000 Event points or less:
      • maxhp = maxhp * (0.25 + Eventpoints / 12000)
    • if the mob is boss
      • maxhp = maxhp * 0.8
    • after everything above:
      • maxhp = 10 * (maxhp 0.8)
  • attack = (attack * (10 + Statmult / 250)1.6)) / 10 )0.75) * 10
  • rangedAttack = (rangedAttack * (10 + Statmult / 250)1.4) / 10)0.75) * 10
  • defense = (defense * (10 + Statmult / 250)1.6) / 10)0.75) * 10
  • evasion = (evasion * (10 + Statmult / 250)1.3) / 10)0.75) * 10
  • accuracy = (accuracy * (10 + Statmult / 250)1.3) / 10)0.75) * 10
  • exp/coin/pixel = exp/coin/pixel * (10 + Statmult / 500) / 10
