Description

Get a job

The Career system rewards you for performing actions related to the career's name while the career is "Active." The bonuses are different for each activity and scale relative to the career level. Career levels increase with career experience gained by performing related activities, up to a limit of level 200. At level 100 and 200, you gain some "passive" advantages for that career's activity that persist even when the career is not activated. After level 200, you can continue to accumulate career experience and trade in sets of 40,000,000 career exp for a supply crate.

Career Bonuses

Each career bestows a different benefit while it is active and scales based on the level attained. The bonuses for increasing a career to level 100 and 200 persist even while the career is not currently active.

Career experience

Each career level requires an increasing amount of experience to reach the next level.
Exp for next level = 100 + 5 * (level + level^2)
Total exp needed for level = 5/3 * ((level-1)^3 + (3 * (level–1)^2) + (62 * (level–1)))
Total experience
Career level Total experience % of career lvl 100
1 0 0.0
10 2,550 0.2
20 15,200 0.9
30 47,850 2.9
40 110,500 6.6
50 213,150 12.7
60 365,800 21.8
70 578,450 34.5
80 861,100 51.4
90 1,223,750 73.0
100 1,676,400 100.0
Activating a career costs more for each career that is already active.
Cost to activate = X * (sqrt(level) + sqrt(career level)) * 1,000,000 + (careers activated * sqrt(level) * 10,000,000)
"X" is: 3 for Arcade, Gardener, Item Maker and Racer, 4 for Adventurer, Button Basher Card Player, Fighter and Gem Trader, or 6 for Idler career.
Each career is associated with a different activity, and gains different amounts of experience based on actions related to that activity.

Blessing

A Blessed career counts as Active and gains double exp (including rewards from Business). Drinking a Random Career Potion will bless one random career for 30 minutes and add a chunk of exp. Drinking a Mega Career Potion will bless ALL careers for 60 minutes and add a larger amount of exp. You may exchange 16 Random Career Potions for 1 Mega Career Potion, or 1 Mega Career Potion for 15 Random Career Potions. Drinking more potions extends the blessing time, to a maximum of 100 hours. When a blessed career runs out, the activated Career timer resumes counting down.
